The article presents the updates from the European Prison Education Association (EPEA) which will be recommended by the Executive Board of European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) to become an associate member in their next assembly. It has been said that EAEA is a European nongovernmental organization with 120 members from the 41 countries that advocates education for the prisoners with the cooperation of the education ministry. It is mentioned that the purpose of leaning will focus on the personal fulfillment, social change, active citizenship, environmental sustainability, cultural and intercultural awareness and knowledge on skills and employment related fields for the prisoners. The educational achievements and activities of EPEA is also offered.
