ABSTRACT
The article provides information on various product strategies related to voicemail. The speech technology firm, CallWave, launched its Vtxt service that sends a summary of a voicemail via text message or e-mail. Sprint's SMS Voice enabled subscribers to record a voice message and send it to any phone or e-mail address. The Voice2txt service offered by Alltel allowed subscribers to discretely respond to voicemails without having to dial and listen to voicemail messages.
