This article provides information on the advertising campaign launched by e-tailer of prescription drugs and personal care items Drugstore.com in 2000. In the company's television commercial, its makes head-of-household women in a bathtub the recurring symbol. In the three commercials, the mother who has chosen to live her life in the tub meets with co-workers, holds a cocktail party and interacts with her daughters. As she runs her busy life, Drugstore.com allows her to easily get what she needs. The spot television and radio effort from Fallon McElligott of Minneapolis, Minnesota, breaks in eight major markets during the Academy Awards telecast. Fallon won the account in September 1999 after McCann-Erickson launched the brand in June 1999.
