ABSTRACT
This article reports the launch of advertising campaigns of career information web sites as of March 2000. Techies.com, a career resource for technology professionals, is launching a $15 million advertising campaign with a 30-second commercial created by Digital Pulp. The campaign includes radio, print, outdoor and online advertisements. Similarly, Wetfeet.com launches an estimated $10 million to $20 million campaign. DDB Worldwide created the humorous effort that includes bus shelter advertisements and radio spots running through the summer in several cities. Job site CareerMosaic also launches a $10 million to $15 million campaign from Merkley Newman Harty.
