ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decreased sales of Foamex International, supplier of polyurethane foam for furniture and bedding, in the third quarter of 2007. Sales in the quarter totaled $290.8 million, compared with $313.6 million in the third quarter of 2006. The company reports that sales in its foam products division decreased 22% in the quarter, while carpet cushion sales tumbled 51%.
