The article presents information on video platform provider VideoEgg. VideoEgg, backed by $16 million from August Capital, First Round Capital, and Maveron, claims its own video universe-hooking up with social networking sites. Today, it serves up 487 million videos a month that users in 70 different online communities such as Piczo, bebo, and dogster, upload to their personal pages. VideoEgg has introduced a clever ticker at the bottom of the video that pauses the video if the user clicks on the advertisement.
