The article features Sylvan Source. The company claims its system reduced more water contaminants more effectively than competitors' without the need for cleaning, chemicals, filters, membranes, or cartridges. By adding two steps to the distillation process, Sylvan's device reduces volatile gases like chlorine as well as metals that otherwise would pass through the process. The device is sold through household appliance distributors in North America, but the company also has international plans. In April, Sylvan inked an agreement with Jackson, Wyoming-based TriLateral Energy to use its technology for global large-scale municipal and industrial projects.
