ABSTRACT
The article features communications company Meru Networks of Sunnyvale, California. Its chief executive officer (CEO) is Ihab Abu-Hakima. Its key investors are Lehman Brothers, Clearstone Ventures, BlueStream Ventures, and Evercore Ventures JumpStartUp Venture Fund. Business Wireless- Fidelity (Wi-Fi) startup Meru Networks will test Wall Street's appetite for telecommunication stock when it files for an initial public offering probably this 2007. The four-year-old company makes Wi-Fi network devices that let employees unleash themselves from the wired network and roam the corporate campus and connect to databases, email, instant messaging (IM), and the Internet wirelessly.
