The article focuses on the revival of National Rubber Technologies (NRT) following acquisition by KN Rubber LLC. Company CEO Greg Bavington says that NRT's financial problems are now behind it, and that it now has 300 employees. NRT's operating synergies were increased late in March 2007 when KN purchased Wapakoneta, Ohio-based Koneta Inc. from Lancaster Colony Corp. He feels that NRT's business is 50% automotive and says that the company hopes to increase its auto parts business.
