Chinese joint venture gives Veyance a boost

The article reports that Veyance Hong Kong Co. Ltd. has combined with Ruiyuan Rubber and Plastics Co. Ltd. to form the joint venture, Shandong Aneng Conveyor Belt & Rubber Co. Ltd., in Yanzhou, Shandong Sheng, China. According to Jim Pecorelli, vice president of Veyance, the joint venture's 20 production lines make more than 12 million square meters of fabric and steel cable reinforced rubber conveyor belts. He also said that the joint venture was formed to create advances in technology.
