The article provides information on Insurance Services Office (ISO) Risk Analyzer, a predictive model that provides insurers with better tools to classify, segment and rate their personal auto risks. This analytic tool also examines the interacting effects of more than 1,200 indicators and predicts expected losses by major coverage. The tool can also pull information about the risk from numerous industry and third-party data sources. Predictive analytics are utilized by insurers in order to improve risk decisions.
