ABSTRACT
The article offers tips on the selection of technology vendors for insurance carriers. Reportedly, insurance carriers are concerned on the state of the insurance software market. The article argues that vendor solutions should also have risk management practices. They should also be reviewed for their past performances. The initial direction of vendor selection also includes a request for proposal process. Aside from the quality of the software, it is also important to determine the quality of the people to deal with.
