A diet low in fat and high in vegetables, fruit, and fiber following breast cancer treatment did not reduce new breast cancer events

The article presents a clinical study that evaluates whether a diet low in fat and high in vegetables, fruit and fiber reduce risk for breast cancer in women previously treated for early-stage breast cancer. A randomized controlled trial was conducted on 3088 women ages from 18 to 70 years old. The study does not support a benefit of a diet low in fat and high vegetables, fruit and fiber in reducing risk for recurrent or primary breast cancer in women.
