ABSTRACT
This article reports on the highlights of the Moveast film festival that took place in Hungary in October 2007. The name of the festival was inspired by a 1990s periodical from the Hungarian National Film Archive. Two films that have been featured at the Moveast film festival, "12:08 East of Bucharest" and "Nafaka," were well-known from other festivals during the last two years. Other films featured during the festival include "Christmas Tree Upside Down," "Chaos," and "Happy New Life." The next Moveast film festival is set to take place in 2010.
