ABSTRACT
The article reports that Williams-Sonoma Inc. (W-S) reduces its sales and earnings estimates for the fourth quarter and its fiscal year that will end on January 28, 2008. In relevance, the fourth-quarter revenue is now projected to be $1.363 billion to $1.385 billion which is lower from previous estimates of $1.387 billion to $1.417 billion. According to Howard Lester, W-S chairman, the macro environment especially their home furnishing did weaken and traffic slowed further than they expected.
