This section discusses the albums released by the rock band Pink Floyd as well as their accomplishments and awards. Their first album "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" was released in 1967. In 1973, the band received a Grammy Award nomination for Album of the Year for the release "Dark Side of the Moon." The band was also nominated in 1980 for the album "The Wall." In 1994, Pink Floyd won the Best Rock Instrumental Performance Award from the Grammys. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.
