ABSTRACT
The article reports on the video management solution employed by the Brisbane Metropolitan Transportation Management Center (BMTMC) in Brisbane, Queensland. The move aims to incorporate and manage the surveillance needs of its three transportation departments. BMTMC, through its more than 400 cameras, uses live image streams from other live feeds to grapple with early morning traffic congestion. This will enable operators to search for uncongested alternate routes.
