ABSTRACT
The article focuses on leadership as a function of one's own interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. The three growth areas that are considered crucial to leadership includes deepening authenticity, enhancing self-expression and creating optimal value. The optimal value aspect involves broadening interests and reconciliating one's own with the common good. Self-expression entails not just good communication skills but the communication of vision with passion and purpose.
