ABSTRACT
The article discusses about the effects of Echo Star Communications formal splitting into two entities which are Dish Network and Echo Star Holding. According to Jason Bazinet, Citigroup cable and satellite analyst, Echo Star Holding has enough capital to allow its CEO Charlie Ergen to either increase the holdings of its company or taking it private, allowing him to obtain a lower value for Dish Network.
