ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the business operations at Lakeshore Cleaners and Tailors Inc. after a fire damaged its plant on November 26, 2006 in Montreal, Quebec. It discusses how the owners, Gendron family, managed to resume the business with the help of some friends, especially the temporary location arranged for Lakeshore. It also talks about the construction of the new plant, procurement of new equipment and their subsequent relocation to the new facility to better serve the customers.
