DAK increasing fiber prices

The article reports on the business development plans of DAK Americas Inc. in the U.S. According to the report, DAK Americas have increased its polyester staple fiber prices by 4% per pound starting December 15, 2007. It was also inferred that the company has announced a 3% per pound increase as of December 2007. Moreover, Jon McNaull stated that the increase was due to the increasingly tight global supply of ethylene.
