ABSTRACT
The article reports on the disbursement of $35.1 million issued by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to a group of U.S. furniture manufacturers in duties collected on wood bedroom furniture. Some of the furniture manufacturers include Stickley Co. and Carolina Furnitureworks Co. The funds are distributed under Byrd Amendment which sends collected duties to petitioners. Appeals in cases before the court determine whether companies that are part of anti-dumping petitions can receive funds.
