ABSTRACT
The article offers information about climates stabilization. It stated that greenhouse gases in the atmosphere must be stabilized at a level that is safe for society and for the environment to avoid the potentially dangerous consequences of climate changes. There are several factors to consider when stabilizing climate at a safe level including the risks and associated financial costs of adapting to climate change, the risk of positive climate, and the financial costs of reducing emissions. The Fourth Assessment Report of the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) indicates that to stabilize atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations at 450 parts per million by 2100, cumulative emissions in the 21st century must be reduced by 30%.
