A part of Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the 329-bed women's hospital opened in October 2007 after seven years of planning and construction, which culminated in an opening day move of 208 patient from the old Prentice Hospital to the new one. Director of Food and Nutrition Sonia Alexander, along with staff and a partnership with chefs Cary Neff and Joyce Goldstein, have created a dining space.
