Ison buys former Thomasville plant

The article reports on the acquisition of the Plant D of Thomasville Furniture company by importer and supplier Ison International company in North Carolina. According to the company, the facility will be used for finishing unassembled goods and to upholster exposed-wood chairs. In addition, the plant is said to employ 50 to 100 people. President Philip Ison announced that they are beginning to move equipment into the 306,000-square-foot plant.
