Dish to Add High-Def, Freeze Some Rates

The article reports on the statement by Dish Network chief executive officer (CEO) Charlie Ergen on its plan to launch four satellites in the year 2008 in the U.S. The said satellite will help facilitate an expansion to 100 national high-definition channels from 76. According to Ergen at the International Consumer Electronics Show, it allows them to go to those 100 channels of high-definition in those hundred cities, assuming there is 100 channels to broadcast.
