ABSTRACT
The article features the Grand Canyon in Arizona. This place has became a national monument 100 years ago in the U.S. According to reports, experts want to make sure that the canyon lasts for hundreds of years so they worked to preserve the area. The canyon itself is much older and some rocks found there are close to two billion years old, with the Colorado River carved through the rock to create the canyon.
