ABSTRACT
This article describes the advertising campaign for the 2000 Olympic Games launched by the International Olympic Committee and created by TBWA/Chiat/Day. The best of six spots shows the footage of bantam Bulgarian power lifter Yoto Yotov hoisting a gigantic barbell in 1992. Upon holding the weigh aloft, he drops it and starts jumping. In one spot, sprinter Derek Redmond is seen pulling up lame with a hamstring injury. These commercials are very handsomely produced, considering they are all from videotape.
