This article reports on the list of 100 Things Worth Every Penny in the 2000 issue of Forbes FYI. The list included such things as a hot-air balloon flight over the Serengeti Plain, a good divorce lawyer, a Bogdan fly reel, Wimbledon tickets and Krispy Kreme donuts. But included on the list, right between a car wash by hand and a 9.9-hp Honda outboard motor, was financial planner.
