The article reports on the move of Landmark Communications Inc. in Norfolk, Virginia to hire investment bankers J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. and Lehman Brothers Inc. to advise it in a strategic plan that could include the possible sale of its Weather Channel. It cites that the possible sale of the firm's widely known asset could cost more than $5 billion. Moreover, it is noted that various media companies have expressed their interest to acquire the cable network including News Corp. and Comcast.
