ABSTRACT
The article reports on the rescue operation by firefighters in Chicago, Illinois after an Amtrak train collided with a freight train. Dozens of passengers were taken to hospitals, and nine were in serious condition. Rescuers have to use hydraulic cutting tools to reach people who are trapped inside the locomotive. By mid-afternoon, they were cleaning up the diesel fuel that spilled from the train.
