ABSTRACT
The article reports on the forecast for the electronic bond trading sector in the fixed-income market for the year 2008. According to analysts, top interdealer brokers can acquire fixed-income platforms due to market volatility. Reportedly, New York Stock Exchange Euronext is also developing a platform for corporate and government bonds in the U.S. and Europe. Interdealer brokers which plan acquisitions include Icap.
