ABSTRACT
The article reports on the campaign funds given by insurance-related entities to the 2008 presidential aspirants in the U.S. Based on political donations, the insurance industry appears to have cast its vote for Senator Christopher J. Dodd despite low poll standing. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, a nonprofit research group, the industry had given more money to Senator Dodd's campaign than to any other candidate, which is estimated to reach at $713,012 as of October 2007.
