The article offers computer technology related news briefs in the U.S. Microsoft Corp. is preparing to issue two security updates for its Windows operating system products. The Trojan Downloader.Win32.Diehard virus ranked in the second place in Kaspersky Lab's list of Top 20 virus for December because of its "explosive propagation." Budget for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) increased about 9% for the government's 2008 fiscal year.
