ABSTRACT
Bîrûnî wrote an article called Fihrist on Abu Bakr al-Razi and his works. In this article, Fihrist would be evaluated according to historicism, and than it would be translated into Turkish. This article is generally about medical history. The reason why we have tried to translate it is that it has a lot of account about methodology and philosophy of history. At first, it has been tried to be explained that Bîrûnî is as modern historian. Secondly, it has been tried to be explained that Bîrûnî must be remembered as the first historian who structed the basis of philosophy of history among Muslims. According to us, Bîrûnî is the first distinguished thinker among Muslims to deal with cycle history and many scientific approach which has generally existed at Ibn Khaldun.
