ABSTRACT
This study is concerned with the determination of Zn; Cd, Pb and Cu levels deposited in the livers, muscles and gills of Leuciscus cephalus L., 1758 living in Çeltikçe stream of Sakarya river by the use of Anodic Stripping Voltammetry (ASV). It was observed that Zn, Cd and Pb were mostly deposited in liver (98.5000 ppm, 4.5354 ppm and 38.9649 ppm respectively) while the highest, Cu level was found in muscles with 6.0330 ppm. It was observed that there was a positive relation between the body weight and Zn, Cd and Cu contents. Pb level on the other hand was found to be negatively correlated with the body weight. There was also a positive correlation between the body weight and Zn , Cd and Pb levels in liver and gills.
