ABSTRACT
By means of an expression with a kind of integral operators, some properties of the weighted Hadamard-type singular integrals are revealed. As applications, the solution for certain strongly singular integral equations is discussed and illustrated.

In this paper, the authors consider a class of maximal multilinear singular integral operators and maximal multilinear oscillatory singular integral operators with standard Calderón–Zygmund kernels, and obtain their boundedness on L p (ℝ n ) for 1 < p < ∞.

A mathematical model of partial closure of a crack in a perforated isotropic medium with a system of rectilinear foreign inclusions is constructed. Such a medium can be interpreted as an unbounded plate reinforced by a regular system of ribs whose cross sections are shaped as narrow rectangles....

• Universal weight systems and the Kontsevich integral for the unknot. Allenov, S. // Journal of Mathematical Sciences;Nov2007, Vol. 147 Issue 1, p6391

The value of the $$\mathfrak{g}\mathfrak{l}(1|1)$$ -weight system for the Kontsevich integral of the unknot is found. This value is a normalizing factor used in calculating knot invariants. A weight system is a function defined on the space of chordal diagrams and taking values in the center...

• Stress intensity factors for cracks at the vertex of a rounded V-notch. Kazberuk, A. // Materials Science;Sep2009, Vol. 45 Issue 5, p676

The method of singular integral equations was applied to determine the stress intensity factors for a system of cracks emanating from the vertex of an infinite rounded V-notch subjected to symmetric loading. The numerical values were obtained for two cases—the case of a single crack and...

The polyconvolution with the weight function γ of three functions f, g, and h for the integral transforms Fourier sine (Fs), Fourier cosine (Fc), and Kontorovich-Lebedev (Kiy), which is denoted by γ*(f, g, h)(x), has been constructed. This polyconvolution satisfies the following...

Making use of a linear operator, which is defined here by means of the Hadamard product (or convolution), we introduce two P novel subclasses Da,c,λ[p,α,A,B] and Σ"p,a,c,λ[α, β] of meromorphically multivalent functions. In this paper, we obtain coefficient estimates, distortion...

In this paper we give the suffcient and necessary condition for the existence of any almost isometric operator from C(Ω) into C0(Ω0). As a corollary, we show that there is no ∈–isometry from any abstract M space with a strong unit into C0(Γ) if $$0 < \in < \frac{1} {9}.$$

It is considered whether $L\,{=}\,\limsup_{n\to\infty} n \snormo{T^{n+1}-T^n}\,\lt\,\infty$ implies that the operator $T$ is power-bounded. It is shown that this is so if $L\lt1/e$, but it does not necessarily hold if $L\,{=}\,1/e$. As part of the methods,...
