Raytheon's Mk 15 Searam defence system is the next incarnation of the Mk 15 Phalanx close-in weapon system. The Multi-Ammunition Softkill System is a countermeasure defense system developed by Rheinmetall. Thales produces the New-Generation Dagaie System (NGDS), which can launch up to twelve acoustic or IR decoys.
