This article offers information on the autumn show and sale held by the Devon Cattle Breeders' Society in Taunton, England. The event produced a top price of 6,500 guineas (gns) for Knoll Majesty 2 after the bull stood champion on a day that saw new buyers in action and claiming many of the highest-priced entries. Clannaborough Brigadier 4, from the May Farming Partnership in Crediton, stood reserve champion. Good trade for the 80 females saw bidding reach £3,150 for the heifer Bollowal Cherry 4 from Jeff and Pat Thomas.
