ABSTRACT
The article discusses the data collected by Wards Communications that showed that medium and heavy truck sales were slow in October 2007. Class 8 trucks declined by 53% followed by Class 6 at 42% compared to the same period in 2006. The overall truck sales decline of just 3% compared with October 2006 was due mainly to the brisk sales of small trucks. For 2007, total sales of trucks went down by 4%.
