ABSTRACT
The article discusses the importance of strong data quality (DQ) capabilities in customer relationship management (CRM). Low DQ undermines the trustworthiness of key performance indicators for CRM. DQ capabilities range from the discovery and profiling of data to enhancement and enrichment of existing data with additional data. Various CRM vendors with poor DQ capabilities in their product portfolio are partnering with larger SOA to improve DQ.
