The article focuses on how the medical care industry can keep up with the technological advances of the Internet. It is inferred that patients are in need of medical, psychological, social, and spiritual services which cannot be given to them through the use of advertisements and websites. The article offers seventeen tips on how to market health care to meet patient needs and personalize care to individuals and families. One tip is to require new employees to spend a night in a hospital bed to understand what it is like to be a patient. Other suggestions are included regarding patient satisfaction and extended visiting hours.
