ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Clark County commissioners approved the construction of a 1,064 foot hotel-casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Known as Crown Las Vegas, the hotel will be the tallest building on the Strip after the Stratosphere tower. Backers of the project include casino magnate James Packer and a Texas real estate developer.
