ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the commitment of Home Depot to international growth through the new stores in Canada and China. According to the author, the company has opened its first stores in China in late August, taking 12 former Home Way units in six cities and remodeling them to best serve the Chinese market. He added that the company has also forged ahead in Canada, opening 11 stores in 2007 to bring the total to 165 with ten additional locations slated for 2008.
