ABSTRACT
The article presents information on various recent developments including personnel changes, awards, and research grants in the U.S. Biology professor Eliot C. Williams has been appointed as chairman of the Science Division at Wabash College, Crawfordsville, Indiana. The prestigious and generous John and Alice Tyler Ecology Award has been shared by three scientists including Ren� Dubos, Abel Wolman, and Charles Elton. The Cell Culture Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is planning to provide research grants to investigators wishing to pursue studies in cell biology.
