ABSTRACT
The article reports on the strong sales performance of college publishers in the U.S. as of September 2007. According to the data released by the Association of American Publishers, publishers of academic texts incurred net sales of up to 17%, or $270.7 million, despite an increase in returns of up to 4.5% to $52.7 million. The contributing sales factor includes gross sales of $323.3 million.
