The article focuses on the effects of increasing inflation on the petroleum industry in Brazil in 2007. Specialists predict that the consumers will be affected by the cost of natural gas that are likely to increase. It informs that Petrobras SA, an oil company has decided to cut part of the natural gas it supplied to distributors in the Brazilian states, to fulfill the agreement of supplying natural gas to power thermoelectric plants.
