ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs related to the rubber and plastics industry. Jackie Robb Britt, CEO of Rubber & Associates Inc, was named president of NIBA-The Belting Association for 2008. James A. Firestone, president of Xerox North America, was elected to Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.'s board of directors for having the word Firestone in his name. ACS Rubber Division held regular draws for a free item at its recent Rubber Expo '07, where the winner had to be present.
