The article reports that the Estonian government has asked the Eesti Energia to prepare a feasibility report on a 650MW subsea interconnector to strengthen Estonia's links to the Nordic power system through Finland. The Estlink?2 will be built with the aim of raising capacity between Finland and Estonia, while enabling Estonia to benefit from the construction of a sixth nuclear reactor. Meanwhile, Estonia has rejected an application from Nord Stream to build a gas pipeline through the country.
