ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Iranian government expects to begin an export deal to supply gas to Bahrain by 2010. The first price negotiations for the deal are scheduled for Tehran in early 2008. Iranian Oil Minister Gholam-Hossein Nozari says there is sufficient scope for the deal. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran signed a memorandum of understanding for the gas supply agreement, during a state visit to Bahrain.
